Man, is war on its way to Westeros or what? This final trailer for the final season of HBO's biggest series ever shows all of the surviving main characters prepping for the final battlefor the Iron Throne, and surely everyone has a stake to that claim.
One of the biggest revelations to date about the new season is that it will feature the longest continuous battle sequence ever put on film, eclipsing the forty-five minute Battle of Helm's Deep in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. If it does indeed run the length of an entire episode, as hinted at in Entertainment Weekly, it may even double that record, as this season's episodes are expected to clock in around the ninety minute mark.
Of course there's not a hint of nudity in this trailer, despite that being one of the show's selling points from the very beginning. While not as skin-filled as seasons past, the seventh season did feature nudity from three of the series' stalwarts—Emilia Clarke, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Lena Headey—all of whom we hope get nude again in season eight...
The first of the eighth season of Game of Thrones' final six episodes premieres on HBO on Sunday April 14!
