We find out in episode five that Jocelyn knew she needed a career boost and that the problematic but talented Tedros, as well as his huge entourage of talented industry professionals, would be her ticket to success. Not only does Jocelyn end up using Tedros - she actually becomes his dom, ordering him around in episode five like he used to do her.

But that's not all. Episode four of The Idol hints that Jocelyn may be more than she seems. In one of the series' most batshit crazy scenes (that's saying something) Tedros throws a shock collar on Jocelyn's creative director Xander’s (Troye Sivan) neck and drills him to get additional details about his relationship with Jocelyn. Xander ends up screaming out:
(Jocelyn) controls everything around her and everyone. And now she’s doing it to you.
Then speaking to Jocelyn, who is in the room, Xander says:
You’re more fucking disgusting, fucked up and depraved than your bitch c**t of a mother.

The Idol Nudity In Episode Three
Episode three of The Idol finds Jocelyn (Lily-Rose Depp) falling deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole. Maybe we've used that phrase to describer her before, but we think it's a fitting way to describe her experience so far across three episodes. We also get more Lily-Rose Depp nude, because of course. This week's episode of The Idol pulls from real life, as it seems to critique the relationship that Kanye West has with his girlfriends. Tedros (The Weeknd) continues to flex his control over Jocelyn in episode three, this time making her dress a certain way. It is common for cultists to strip the indoctrinated of their individuality. Tedros does this by buying Jocelyn a completely new wardrobe during a chaotic Rodeo Drive shopping spree.
Even though Jocelyn's assistant and best friend Leia (Rachel Sennott) sees the writing on the wall, Jocelyn is in too deep and is not only enamoured with Tedros, but his whole "entourage," AKA "cult." Tedros also exerts his control over Jocelyn by showering her with inappropriate amounts of affection in public. Which is where we come in. He becomes enraged with jealousy over a store employee who he perceives as hitting on his woman, so he takes her into the dressing room to have crazy sex.
