We can say with the utmost of honesty that the amazing Kathleen Brady is proof that it's never too late to get into the acting game! You see, this stunner actually wrote what some would consider the quintessential biography of the biggest name in comedy, Lucille Ball. She penned the book Lucille: The Life of Lucille Ball back in 1994 and even had another hit before that came out with another biographer about Ida Tarbell. She had plenty of TV appearances as herself, basically appearing as an expert on Ida Tarbell or Lucille Ball on PBS American Masters series back in the 90s. Kathleen was also named as a Fellow of the Society of American Historians for her work over the years. In 2012 though, she broke out onto the small screen with an appearance in a one-off episode of one of the greatest TV series of all time on Breaking Bad. So once you check off your list of accomplishments as a Biographer at NYU, a reporter for Time Magazine, a best selling author, you might as well get into acting too! Lucky for us, she didn't shy away from making a later in life Nude-Comer debut in her first feature film either where she strips down in Rent-A-Pal (2020), as the mother of the main character, whom he cares for.
