No, unfortunately we don't have video of Maggie trying out said vibrators on herself. All we know is that the marvelous Miss G. is starring in the new movie Hysteria, a costume drama about the invention of the vibrator. Really! Turns out it was invented in Victorian England by one Mortimer Granville, who used it as a cure for "female hysteria," a common ailment during Victorian times whose symptoms included:

Faintness, nervousness, insomnia, fluid retention, heaviness in abdomen, muscle spasm, shortness of breath, irritability, loss of appetite for food or sex, and "a tendency to cause trouble".

In other words, in need of some, ahem, release. Before Granville's discovery, Victorian gynecologists were reduced to alleviating their patients' tension manually. You read that right- manually. Apparently Granville's hands were sore from diddling dowagers all day, so he developed the vibrator to give his aching wrist a rest.

To promote her buzz-worthy (heh) performance in the film, Maggie is hosting an episode of the Discovery Channel show Curiosity, where she will explore the age-old question: What's up with orgasms?

You can check out a truly bizarre clip from Curiosity of a lady playing stinky pinky in an MRI machine here, and see the trailer for Hysteria, where Maggie sports a provocative (for Victorian times, anyway) low-cut strapless gown, here.

Oh, and sorry we implied we had pictures of Maggie Gyllenhall going to town on herself with a vibrator. And here at Mr. Skin, nothing says "I'm sorry" like some full frontal nudity:
