Never Have I Ever (2020-2023)

From the genius comedic mind of Mindy Kaling, we get a bit of a semi-autobiographical look at what her early years in California were like as a somewhat awkward Indian American teenager.  This Netflix series, Never Have I Ever, follows the life of Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), growing up in Sherman Oaks, Cali. After Devi loses her father very suddenly, she is hit with an insane wave of grief that manifests in the form of a temporary paralysis in her legs.  Along with all of that, she is also an Indian teenager in Sherman Oaks, California and school life, teenager pecking orders, and her relationship with her widowed mother begin to become overwhelming to her.  She's about as awkward as they come with her crush, she has a nemesis Ben (Jaren Lewison) who torments her, her cousin, Kamala (Richa Moorjani) is super hot and everyone loves her, and of course she is forever trying to change her social status in school.  Hopefully next year will go better for Devi?  Lucky for us too this series is rife with awkward sexual encounters between plenty of the main characters but for our money the mind meltingly sexy lesbian smooches between Eve (Christina Kartchner) and Fabiola Torres (Lee Rodriguez) take the cake for most memorable screen kisses on the series.  Hopefully the awkward teen finds her footing in the brutal world of high school girls and we also get to see Richa Moorjani in some more scantily clad clothing in this hilarious Netflix series!  Never Have I Ever keep my hands out of my pants during those lesbian lip locks!
