Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016)

What began as a novel hybrid, thanks to public domain laws, this 19th century love story got a major twist. Our protagonist is still the lovely Elizabeth Bennet (played by Lily James), a woman trained in martial arts during the midst of a zombie apocalypse (a la the black plague, no less). Mr. Darcy is of infinitely higher social class, but remains equally skilled in killing off the always growing zombie population. Class pressures clash with marriage pressure clash with undead pressures, and the couple falls in love above all odds. Unfortunately, this movie is just as buttoned up as Jane Austen's original novel, and Lily James only goes so far as to show some serious cleavage while Bella Heathcote shows her garter when she sticks a knife in it. How long until we get a less clothed rendition of Pride and Prejudice?
