Selfie (2014)

America, welcome Karen Gillan, a hot redhead known to geeks from her stint on Doctor Who and most recently the James Gunn epic Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). But the sexy Scott is about to get her own TV sitcom and it's about time. Selfie is about Karen's character, Eliza Dooley, which sounds very much like Eliza Doolittle, only this Eliza will do plenty to get you hot and heavy. The premise of the show is that the self-involved 20-something Eliza, after being the subject of an embarrassing viral video, enlists the help of a marketing expert to revamp her image in the real world. It's a new show, but has already garnished critical kudos, and with scenes like the one where the camera does a quick pan down at an underwear-clan Karen in the bathroom of a plane, it's sure to please more than the critics.
