The skin we live in refers to Skin Central! But The Skin I Live In (2011) is a drama by Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar. With this flick, the flamboyant filmmaker tries his hand at the horror genre. The twisted tale of sex, revenge and gender-reassignment surgery features Elena Anaya as Vera Cruz, a frequently nude and frequently operated on captive of demented plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Ledgard (Antonio Banderas). Ledgard’s wife committed suicide after being disfigured in a car crash, and now the bad doctor wants to recreate his true love with Vera as his canvas. As such, sensual shenanigans, macabre mayhem and several erotic sequences are thrown in for good measure. Speaking of good measurements, Ms. Anaya flashes her flesh throughout the movie. In fact, she bares her breasts, bush and butt just 8 minutes in. Talk about putting the thrills into this thriller! Elena continues to reveal her rack at the 00:34:14-, 00:44:15-, 01:23:36- and 01:45:00-minute marks. If that’s not hot enough, the hottie shows off her round rump to Mr. Banderas — and all the rest of us! No wonder it won Best Foreign Film at the British Academy Film Awards. The movie also includes Bárbara Lennie, Marisa Paredes, Jan Cornet, Roberto Álamo, Susi Sánchez, Concha Buika, and Blanca Suarez’s naked chest. As Norma Ledgard, the latter actress exposes her mams and gams while getting screwed by a dude at the base of a tree. How woody. So, that’s why the skin I live in just grew 6 inches!
