"I like women who like to eat," proclaims Jason Lee (My Name Is Earl) in the foodie comedy Cuisine américaine (1998). He plays Loren Collins, a former Navy cook who gets discharged after decking an officer who questioned the machismo of his ship's menu. After returning to New York to make pizza, Loren falls in with a French chef (Eddy Mitchell) and subsequently falls hard for Gabrielle (Irène Jacob), the chef's daughter. Cultures clash as Loren tries to ingratiate himself both with a snooty French restaurant staff and deliciously tempting Gabrielle. Irène dishes up a nifty nip, while Sylvie Loeillet is a vision of bare beauty as she provides topless and bottomless aid to a pal in a hospital.
