Hall of Fame Spotlight: The Very Best of Pam Grier

They haven't come up with enough adjectives in the entire English language to describe the one and only Pam Grier! This legend of the stage, large and small screen, former backup singer for Bobby Womack, first black woman on the cover of MS magazine, trained martial artist, cancer survivor, and overall, to put it simply, a badass babe beyond belief, she is most definitely worthy of an entry into the Hall of Fame for Skin. Pam-cakes gave us some boobie and booty as the TIT-ular lead in Coffy (1973), popped her top again as the lead again in the legendary Blaxploitation flick Foxy Brown (1974), and became a Nubian Gladiatrice, showing all 3 B's in The Arena (1974). She got topless, hot and heavy with Fred Williamson in Bucktown (1975), took a soapy and sexy shower while Apollo Creed tried to sneak in and assassinate her with a switchblade as another titular heroine in Friday Foster (1975), and spent some naked time in the dreaded "sweatbox" with Margaret Markov in Black Mama, White Mama (1973). She played a sexy topless prisoner in back to back to back "babes behind bars" features with The Big Doll House (1971), Women in Cages (1971), and The Big Bird Cage (1972), proving once and for all that women's prison isn't all that bad if Pam Grier is there with you to get revenge on those holding the keys! She also provided some heat in Cool Breeze (1972), showed us her tom-toms in Drum (1976), and gave us all something to "shoot for" in Hit Man (1972). Her career has been the stuff of legends and rumor has it, she's one of the nicest people in La-La Land, so we certainly salute this Hall of Fame hottie and hope she keeps on showing up on our screens!
