L' amante scomoda (1992)

European sex-cinema veterans converge for the smoldering L’Amante scomoda (1992), an adults-only drama from Italian director Luigi Russo. Though his film was distributed internationally as Fear of Scandal, Russo approaches his subject matter--namely, deviant sex--in an unabashedly fearless manner. Linda Carol and Cristina Garavaglia flirt with indecency in dimly lit scenes that find them flashing their shapely frames for Russo’s lens, with Garavaglia even edging into the realm of skingoria with a gruesome throat-slashing shot.
