My First Summer (2020)

This feature debut from writer/director Katie Found finds teenager Claudia (Markella Kavenagh) living alone in the Australian woods with her dog after the tragic death of her mother, who kept her completely secluded from the rest of the world. Grace (Maiah Stewardson), another young loner with an uncaring family, stumbles upon Claudia’s house and the two build a friendship that becomes something more as they find both support and escape in each other’s company. The film is anchored by the performances of these two talented nudecomers as they share some very intimate, scantily-clad moments. My First Summer brings the sweet heat for sure!
