Oil On Canvas (2019)

Art student María (Sarah Benavente) wants open an art gallery but she doesn’t have the money so she decides to return to the family home she hasn’t been to years for a weekend with her partner Julio (Chico García) in tow. María and her man make a beeline for the pool, even before introducing him to her father Arturo (Juan Antonio Hidalgo), who’s happy to see his daughter but not as welcoming to Julio. Arturo’s also still not doing well with the fact that his son Hugo (José Pastor), María’s brother, is gay, which is why Hugo has to hide his Call Me By Your Name-esque summer romance with Ramón (Jesús Moya). The men deliver most of the nudity but Sarah dons a few skimpy swimsuits around the pool, including a strapless, midriff-baring bikini that’s a work of art in itself!
