Every so often a scene gets paired with a song that, for better or worse, ends up making it that much more memorable, and today we’ve got yet another provocative pairing that has us asking “was this really the sexiest choice?”
Welcome to the Hotel Desire, a 2011 German short starring SaraLisa Volm as a single mom who works as a maid in a Berlin hotel. She ends up in bed with one of the hotel patrons, a blind portrait artist played by Clemens Schick, who uses his other non-handicapped body parts to explore every inch of the gorgeous German’s body during a lengthy real sex scene.

Their hot hotel humping is scored by Stefan Maria Schneider, whose resume includes a lot of animated projects and children’s programming. He’s spent the bulk of his career writing music for flying cartoon dragons including the 2020 film Dragon Rider, so it’s no surprise that his earlier work has the same soaring sensibilities.

We’re not saying the nudity in Hotel Desire isn’t epic, it absolutely is. SaraLisa’s lower lippage is on full display right from the start, and the two hit so many positions we see her boobs, butt, and bush from just about every angle.

However, the overly climatic music never really seems to match the action of the climaxing couple. The orchestrations would seem more at home if they were following the Fellowship traveling with the One Ring to Mordor. When Clemens starts tonguing SaraLisa’s pink taco you half expect the T-Rex from Jurassic Park to make an appearance.

Unlike other questionable song choices, this one doesn’t necessarily distract from one’s enjoyment of the scene, it’s just an odd quirk you might notice the more you watch it. That said, this spicy scene still warrants repeat viewings. Count us as one of the Hotel Desire’s frequent guests!
