Review

A San Francisco musician wanders from gig to gig and bed to bed in Surrogate Valentine (2011). Singer-songwriter Goh Nakamura stars as himself, a musician who gets stuck mentoring actor Danny Turner (Chadd Stoops) after Danny is cast in Goh’s best friend Rachel’s (Lynn Chen) movie. Danny wants to shadow Goh on tour to prepare for his role as a "sad-sack musician", but doesn’t take very well to life on the road. Nevertheless, being in a van together 18 hours a day leaves plenty of time for bonding, leading Danny to appoint himself Goh’s romantic coach. Manuela Horn turns up the heat in a teeny bikini as she relaxes in a hot tub 28 minutes in. It’ll give you a heart-on!
